✦ one of the six things i help with ✦
career girlie
ai for work, getting ahead, and looking sharp doing it.
this one’s ai at work. not the parts of your job that are actually yours. the tedious parts.
mostly that means applying for things. the cover letter you’ve rewritten until it sounds like nobody. the job description you can’t tell is a promotion or a trap.
the thing nobody warns you about is the editing. ai hands you something competent and slightly dead, and a hiring manager can feel it from across the room. getting your own voice back in takes about as long as the prompt did.
don’t paste a confidential job description or anything with a client’s name in it. and don’t let her write the whole thing. she wasn’t there. she can’t say why you specifically want this one.
